The Archelon was one of the first rides installed following the expansion to the east of the pier. A large green turtle sits at the top of a central pole, and has 32 seats hanging from it. The pole extends lifting riders off the ground, and begins to rotate. At the top the turtle tilts to one side. It spins in this position for a while then slows down and lowers riders back to the floor.
